Jane Barclay

Jane Barclay is a Legal Executive. Jane grew up in South Canterbury and has been working as a Legal Executive for the past 15 years starting at the age of 21 working mainly in Timaru and then in Christchurch specialising in residential transactions. This includes buying and selling residential properties, subdividing of land, refinancing and also advice in regard to Wills. Jane has also had experience in working with families who have lost loved ones.

Jane has been living in Auckland for the past seven years and is married with two children, Campbell and Joshua. Having come from a small town, Jane is also interested in most sports, but is passionate about netball and still plays and coaches at Te Pai Courts in West Auckland.

Jane is our Mobile Legal Executive having recently started a Mobile service with Metro Law. This service provides more accessibility to legal advice in the evenings and through the weekend and clients are visited in their own home. This brings a fresh approach to conveyancing and as such Metro Law is one of the few firms offering this service in the Auckland area.

Personal Message

Since starting the new Mobile Service, I find the more personal approach to conveyancing to be a rewarding experience with meeting people in their homes and discussing their plans for the future. The relationship that is created with people is much more relaxed and longer lasting as you become part of their nucleus at a very special and stressful part of their lives. To be able to assist people and make the whole process as simple as possible is the best gift that you can give somebody.
